In that regard, Ling is committed to capturing the minute details of his current residence in Hong Kong, where he has lived for the past 11 years.

Ling hopes that by doing so, he will secure photographic evidences of his home for the future, when the house may no longer exist, helping to minimise the confusion of his vague and seemingly rootless family past.
